Book presentation John van den Heuvel

For almost five years, security guards from the DKDB police service have been around John van den Heuvel almost day and night to ensure that he can continue to do his work as a crime reporter.

Fellow journalist Bert Dijkstra wondered how a life with extreme security can be maintained and what it means for his private life and journalistic work. He accompanied John on the road for six months, giving him a glimpse behind the scenes of my often turbulent existence.

On the occasion of the publication of the book, John toasted life that day, together with approximately 60 people who mean a lot to him and his family. The program included the presentation of the first copy of the book, a conversation with the Minister of Justice and a performance by Dwight Dissels.
